Avisto (flyavisto.com) sends flight deal alerts. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, where it is stored and how to reach us.
What we collect
- On the waitlist form: your email, first name (optional), departure airport, destinations, travel periods, your answer to the price question, and the date and wording of the consent you gave.
- Automatically: your language and, if you arrived through a shared link, the referral code of that link.
- Not collected: no payment details, no postal address, no advertising or analytics trackers. Our application does not store your IP address.
Why
Only to tell you when the service launches and to send you flight deals for your destinations and dates. We never sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Where it is stored
Your information is stored outside Québec, in the United States, with these providers:
- Amazon Web Services (Ohio): hosting of the site and the database, including backups.
- Resend: sending our emails.
- Cloudflare: our domain name and forwarding of emails sent to info@flyavisto.com.
- Google: our inbox, which receives the emails you send to info@flyavisto.com.
Before choosing them, we assessed how they protect information, as required by Québec law.
Cookies
Two functional cookies only: your language (1 year) and the referral code of the link you used (30 days).
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it; we then erase it within 30 days. If the service does not launch, the list is erased by December 31, 2027.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, receive a copy, or withdraw your consent at any time. Every email we send to the list will include an unsubscribe link. Write to info@flyavisto.com; we answer within 30 days. You may also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Person in charge
The person in charge of the protection of personal information is the founder of Avisto: info@flyavisto.com.
